Here is a sitcom idea....ready?
Will Palmdale or Palmer is a liberal idealist living in a conservative city.
He expresses his political views. He is badgered and belittled for his beliefs. His conservative friends and foes call him "Butterfly". He is a butterfly fan.
He tries to hammer through the concept of democracy and the will of the people.
Maybe later down the road he contemplates a run at political office.
